April and May seem to be full of field trips, special events at school, and parties. Here are the pictures from Abby's first grade train field trip! This field trip is awesome. The kids ride on the bus to Temple, and then ride on the train to McGregor. Add in getting to play at two different parks throughout the day, and the kids have a very memorable day. They love it!
The first graders also just performed in their yearly program at Spring Valley. This year it was called, "Rhyme Time". Abby's part was to play the xylophone. She was a lot less nervous with this job compared to when she had a speaking part in the last performance!
I also took a picture of the children's choir singing in church. These pictures always remind me of my childhood. My mom has quite a few pictures like this one, and I grew up to become very close friends with the girls standing around me in 6 year old choir.
