California Baby!

In the middle of July, we enjoyed a wonderful trip to visit family in Irvine, CA. We had such a wonderful time with the family, and the cousins made some more great memories together.  We went to the beach several times, went to Legoland California, rented a boat, and had a great time being together hanging out at the Socal Capron casa.  The adults even got to sneak away to go the the Pageant of the Masters, which was completely incredible and such a fun treat!  It was a great week!

I think our kids' favorite activity of all was getting to go to the beach.  One night Jon made a treasure hunt for the kids.  They had to follow and map and dig up buried treasure.  With a little redirection from the adults, the kids found the treasure, dug it up, and got to enjoy chocolate chip cookies.  Jon really does know how to make some fun memories.  We all loved it!
