Abby got the Fantastic Friend Award. Her teacher, Mrs. Jaynes, was wonderful! Abby's strength in school is definitely reading. Things that she will remember from first grade are planting bluebonnet seeds, her teacher getting Teacher of the Year for the district, her student teacher Miss Fanous, their hot chocolate party, the train field trip, and building gingerbread houses at Christmas time. Abby's friends this year were Addison, Ella, Emma, Camille, Braelyn, Brianna, Merrin, and Cece. She clearly is a FANTASTIC FRIEND!
Caleb received the A Honor Roll Award. His strength is school is math. His friends this year were Gregory, Konnor, John, Nate, and Levi. He made these memories this year: talking about Minecraft at recess, the egg drop contest, a field trip to Homestead Heritage, his class winning lots of school contests (they had a lot of teachers' kids in their class), and having flexible seating (and a certain exercise ball that he put a pencil through). We are proud of this smart boy!
