This and That in June

VBS 2014:  We were thrilled to have the Sieverts join us in Waco for our church's VBS this year.

Luke and Abby are taking a gymnastics class this summer.  They both had a great time on the first day of class, and I was happy that Luke gladly participated in each activity.

Some Yellow Crowned Night Herons made a nest in a tree in our front yard.  Our picture is not great, but these three baby birds were huge and messy!  We loved checking in on them everyday when it was time to get the mail.

Caleb's Last Days of First Grade!

Caleb finished out a great year of first grade.  Here are some pictures of the Spring Valley Award's Ceremony and of Caleb and Jon riding to school on the last day.  Caleb was really quite proud to arrive at school this way all year long (on the days when Jon took him)!

Last of all is a picture of our boy right after he lost both of his two front teeth!  He is getting so big, and we are very proud of him!

Basketball Star Luke

Luke loves to play basketball.  He can shoot well for his age and makes lots of shots towards our kid basketball hoop at 5 and 6 feet.  He also loves to shoot towards our normal tall hoop.  He makes none of these shots.  Really he doesn't even get close, but he still keeps on joyfully throwing the ball up again and again.  It really is quite entertaining to watch him with all of his intensity!
